OUR STORY
"People don’t have ideas... ideas have people."
In January of 2024, Pastors Scott and Britt Silcox were handed the baton from founding pastors, Pastors Rusty and Leisa Nelson, of head leadership at the Rock Family. The Rock is a legacy church in Huntsville, founded in 1999.
As part of their inaugural Vision Sunday in August of 2024, Pastors Scott and Britt Silcox released the vision to start a K-12 school at the site of the historic Butler High School campus. This vision was met with resounding support from the congregation and Huntsville community.
We are a Christ-centered academic community that empowers students to fully realize their God-given potential through rigorous academic programs, comprehensive support, and experiential learning opportunities.

At Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, we believe the time has come for an idea that transforms education, faith, and leadership in Huntsville, Alabama. While we may not be able to reform the entire education system, we are uniquely positioned to form and fortify the minds of the next generation of Christ-centered leaders, equipping them to impact every sphere of society—from space and technology to government, business, and the arts.
